Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Lead Software Engineer - Data Ops to MANUF & SUPPLY DIG PLAT(INDIA) -CAT IT Division.
The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office, KA -India
What you will do
The Lead Software Engineer -would lead the design, architecture, and scaling of secure, enterprise-grade AWS cloud platforms for digital and AI/ML workloads. This role owns CI/CD platform strategy, Infrastructure as Code, cloud reliability, DevSecOps governance, and enterprise standardization, working closely with application, data, and ML engineering teams to enable consistent and scalable delivery.
• Owns architecture and implementation of enterprise DevOps and cloud platforms across programs.
• Drives standardization, scalability, and reuse of platform capabilities.
• Influences DevOps and MLOps practices across multiple teams and domains.
• Mentors engineers and elevates engineering quality and platform maturity.
1. CI/CD & Source Control
• Architect, build, and scale enterprise CI/CD platforms using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Define reusable workflows, templates, and standardized deployment patterns.
• Enable self-service pipelines, automated environment promotion, and compliance enforcement across teams.
2. AWS Cloud, DevOps & MLOps Enablement
• Lead engineering of AWS-based platforms supporting application and ML workloads.
• Advanced use of AWS services including SageMaker, ECS/EKS, CodePipeline, IAM, and S3.
• Own MLOps lifecycle including model deployment, automation, monitoring, and governance.
3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Define and implement enterprise IaC strategy using AWS CloudFormation.
• Build reusable, modular, and auditable infrastructure patterns.
• Standardize AWS role provisioning, environment setup, and compliance-aligned configurations.
4. DevSecOps, Quality & Governance
• Establish and enforce DevSecOps controls across CI/CD ecosystems.
• Integrate SonarQube and security tools for automated quality checks and policy compliance.
• Drive enterprise adherence to tagging, security standards, and remediation SLAs.
5. Artifact & Supply Chain Management
• Govern artifact lifecycle using JFrog Artifactory.
• Ensure traceability, version control, and secure software supply chain practices across environments.
6. Operations & Reliability
• Define and implement monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks.
• Lead SRE practices including SLIs/SLOs, incident management, and resilience engineering.
• Drive platform reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies.
What you will have
- Deep AWS expertise with DevOps and MLOps services (SageMaker, ECS/EKS, CodePipeline, IAM, S3).
- Strong proficiency in GitHub and GitHub Actions (enterprise-scale CI/CD).
- Advanced experience with AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go for automation.
- Experience with JFrog Artifactory and SonarQube.
- Proven experience designing and scaling DevOps/MLOps platforms.
- This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the Office.
Complementary /Future-Ready Skills
- AWS Firewall and networking expertise from an architectural perspective.
- Experience in security and governance for AI platforms, including NVIDIA-based environments.
- Exposure to Azure cloud services for multi-cloud strategy

Software Integration Engineering: Knowledge of software integration processes and functions; ability to design, develop and maintain interfaces and linkage to alternative platforms and software packages.
