Our Americas Distribution & Service Division (ADSD) provides governance and administration of Cat® dealers across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
As the Finance Specialist Dealer Support you will be responsible for dealer financial analysis, leading projects to support financial health, managing dealer credit and receivables, protecting company assets, and making improvement recommendations which contribute to financially sound and successful dealer operations.

What You Will Do:
- Support dealer profitability and financial health in North America.
- Analyze confidential financial reports and evaluating the financial strength of Caterpillar dealers in assigned region(s). Reporting financial trends and problem areas affecting dealer performance to management.
- Assisting dealers in short and long-term financial planning, credit and collections, accounting, cash management, etc.
- Manage and collect company receivables from loans and investments to dealers from Caterpillar. Administer Caterpillar payment policy to dealers and minimize past dues.
- Monitor compliance to Dealer Financial Procedures (DFP), Sarbanes Oxley Act, and treasury letters.
- Train, coach, and mentor new Finance Representatives and district/region staff.
- Represent the Finance Director when needed.
- Identify and recommend process improvements within district/regional offices.
- Other duties as assigned by management from time-to-time.
What You Have (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or accounting, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
What You Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing credit profiles and financial statements, with the ability to assess risk, interpret key financial metrics, and support informed lending or financial decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in roles with comparable responsibility, including managing dealer relationships, supporting financial processes, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in transactional workflows.
- Previous experience working with Caterpillar Dealers and customers.
- Previous commercial acumen with strong negotiation skills, including the ability to evaluate financial scenarios, influence outcomes, and secure mutually beneficial agreements with dealers or external partners.

Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
