As a Quality Technician at Caterpillar Inc. you will perform quality control and/or technical support for all functional departments.

What to Expect After Applying:
*Applicants that meet the qualifications will receive a call from our talent acquisition team to talk through your qualifications and answer questions you may have.
*Applicants that have passed the phone screen will be sent an online assessment that can be taken from your phone or computer.
*On-site interviews will be scheduled for candidates that pass the phone screen and the online assessment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Perform quality control on receiving, shipping, storage, processing, renovation, inspection equipment maintenance, communication, packaging and returns
* Ensure customer standards are maintained
* Lead inspection staff and assist in training incoming quality personnel
* Use specialized equipment including: hoists, saws, grinders, material handling vehicles, and chemical solutions

Basic Qualifications:
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and/or electronic schematics diagrams
* Working knowledge of SAP ECC and SAPME software

* Working knowledge of HVC/PQWB and EPIX applications
* Working knowledge of inspection tools including, micrometers and various gages
* Strong customer focus

* Working knowledge Microsoft office360 and SharePoint

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

* Previous experience in quality control or manufacturing
* Previous Leadership experience
* Degree or taking classes towards degree
* Microsoft office and computer skills

Additional details:

3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday 11am - 7pm

Starting pay for this role is $21.25/hour + $1.00 shift premium
