What You Will Do:

As a Design Engineer, you will lead on the engine components design and development, provide effective and robust technical solutions for quality issues and technical support by proficiently using problem solving tools.

• Understand whole engine structure and performance functions
• Engine components design, development and validation
• Production line quality issue resolution from engineering perspective
• Customer quality issue resolution from engineering perspective
• Quality issue root cause analysis and temporary & permanent solutions identified
• Collaborate with SDE/SQE to support on the supplier quality issue resolution
• Critical quality issue risk assessment and evaluation

Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability

to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.

Product Design - MFG: Knowledge of processes, approaches, tools and techniques of product design; ability to convert customer and market requirements into product design.

Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.

Level Working Knowledge:

Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing or product development environment.

Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Required Qualifications:.

• Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Automobile, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in industry (automobiles, engines, machinery manufacturing, heavy equipment, ect). Quality-related work experience prepared.

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong sense of responsibility, proactive, and detail oriented. Strong ability to adapt to fast pace and occasionally emergencies.

Additional Information:

• Fluent in English, with the ability to work effectively across different time zones.
