As part of the Dealer and Customer Solutions division, the Product Adoption Consultant (PAC) leads the adoption of best-in-class dealer data management practices in EAME that improve the customer experience across the Cat® Digital Ecosystem. The role’s primary focus is to drive complete, accurate, and consistent customer information, enabling dealers and Caterpillar teams to better understand, support, and serve customers.
Role Definition
As Trifecta and Data Management Product Adoption Consultant you’ll be responsible for supporting go-to-market initiatives, and execution as a subject matter expert of assigned products and services.
Key Job Responsibilities :
Provide dealer data management and product application expertise to support Caterpillar dealers and internal teams, including product training, new feature release readiness, and coordination of outstanding issue resolution.
Work closely with Digital Adoption Representatives (DARs) to define and support adoption plans that improve the quality, completeness, and consistency of customer information across the Cat® Digital Ecosystem.
Represent dealer needs by proactively capturing feedback from users, identifying recurring needs and pain points, and translating those insights into clear product requirements and prioritization input for product owners and internal teams.
Skills required for success in this role:
Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
Consulting: Ability to build trusted relationships, influence decisions, and drive adoption across dealer organizations and internal teams without direct authority.
Potential Background that can help you succeed in role :
Experience with customer data management, CRM systems, or interconnected business applications.
Experience supporting data quality, data governance, master data management, or digital transformation initiatives.
Experience supporting customer success, product adoption, consulting, or change management initiatives.
Experience collaborating across business and technical teams to support system implementations, process improvements, or product adoption.
Experience working with dealer networks, distribution organizations, or enterprise software solutions.
Additional Information
Travel for this role is estimated at 30-40% within EAME region .
There is no relocation sponsorship.
