About E&ES:
Caterpillar’s Electrification & Energy Solutions (E&ES) Division will focus on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries.

Job Summary:
The E+ES Supply Chain team is working on executing the procurement, build readiness, scheduling, and small batch execution. This role will be accountable to be the Material Requirements Manager for Noblesville, Indiania which is a prototyping motors facility operating with SAP as well as prove design functions for new products/technology. With E+ES having many of the core growth objectives for Caterpillar this role provides an environment to solve problems to aid in velocity to build product, validate, and plan to deploy to the market.
What You Will Do:
Coordinating with multiple functions, such as manufacturing, procurement, etc., to acquire appropriate requirements to meet development and accuracy standards.
Managing day-to-day activities of inventory administration staff; participating in interviewing, hiring, and training and development of associates.
Ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures; implementing loss prevention procedures and practices.
Participating in planning inventory and defining optimal inventory levels and adjustment authority; monitoring inventory levels.
What You Will Have:
Supply Chain Management - MFG: Extensive knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
Problem Solving: Working knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Working knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Planning and Organizing: Working knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Logistics Management: Extensive knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
Data Gathering & Analysis: Working knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
What Will Set You Apart:
A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, manufacturing or engineering
Experience with manufacturing aftermarket parts will help drive a better clean to build execution
Experience with SAP and Power BI will aid in the ability to be successful in the role
Additional Information:
This position is located in Mossville, IL and requires 5-day a week on-site availability
Domestic relocation is available for this role

Travel is expected 25% of the time
Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
