Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.

As a Parts Orders Analyst, you will be responsible for scheduling, planning and overseeing material procurement, production and delivery processes.


Additional Information:

  • This role is located in York, PA and does not offer relocation.
  • This role is 2nd shift, Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
  • This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules.

What You Will Do:

  • Process shipping documentation and customs paperwork for Canadian truck shipments.

  • Coordinate special-order shipments through carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and other transportation providers.

  • Schedule and manage customer deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

  • Arrange expedited transportation for urgent customer pickups and deliveries.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, shipment tracking, and shipping documentation.

  • Communicate and collaborate with other facilities to coordinate customer orders, logistics, and shipment requirements.

  • Track shipments and maintain accurate records of shipping and delivery documentation.

  • Complete training to support the processing and coordination of DHL shipments.

  • Provide operational coverage for first-shift team members during planned time off, PTO, or early departures.

  • Support daily logistics and shipping operations to ensure effective customer service and shipment execution.


What You Have (Basic Requirements):

  • Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

  • Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP): Knowledge of the process, issues and considerations for systematically managing distribution of inventory for multiple plants or warehouses; ability to apply related knowledge and experience in real practice.

  • Inventory Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.

  • Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.

  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Summary Pay Range:

$25.10 - $37.60

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
