Job Summary:
Supports go-to-market initiatives, and sales execution as a subject matter expert of assigned portfolio of products and services. Provides SME guidance to field & dealer eCommerce teams for assigned territory and acts as a conduit for customer and dealer feedback to product team.
What You Will Do:
- Providing product application expertise by delivering various types of product training including applied technology, job efficiency, and system configurations to customers, company, and dealers' sales personnel.
- Conduct product performance studies, assess customer job sites efficiency, collecting product and customer requirements in order to capitalize opportunities for incremental sales to create business case for product improvement process and new product introduction program.
- Collaborating with various internal teams to get alignment on timelines, escalation of product issues, prioritize enhancements, and understand marketing goals.

- Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
Considerations For Top Candidates:
- Experience improving customer experience on eCommerce platforms
- Experience increasing Year-over-Year (YoY) customer conversions
- Experience working with Caterpillar dealers & business partners and resources identifying the needs of customers
- Direct experience gathering Voice of Customer (VoC) or Voice of Dealer (VoD)
- Experience supporting the business on eCommerce bugs, process flows, and overall UX
Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
