Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Line Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our machining processes within a high-performance manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

• Supervise and coordinate all machining line activities to meet production schedules and targets.

• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of machine operators and technicians to maximize productivity and engagement.

• Monitor equipment performance and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Maintain accurate production records and report key performance metrics to management.

Required Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or currently in their final semester of a Bachelor’s degree program will also be considered.

• Languages: Intermediate English

• Create and manage production schedules to meet targets.

• Prepare contingency plans for equipment or staffing issues.

• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and mentor employees.

Effective Communication:

• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.

• Foster engagement and accountability within the team.

• Resolve conflicts professionally and maintain collaboration.

Problem Solving:

• Quickly identify issues, evaluate root causes, and implement effective solutions to maintain production flow.

• Collect and interpret production data to monitor performance, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Performance Management:

• Set clear expectations, monitor results, and provide feedback to ensure team and process efficiency.

• Develop team skills through training and coaching.

• Maintain precision in documentation, process execution, and quality checks to uphold standards and minimize errors.

• Proven experience supervising machining or manufacturing operations.

Additional Information:

• This position will be in Santa Catarina HCC2 Facility, Nuevo Leon, MX.

• Work schedule: Monday to Saturday depending on the support requirements for the production line, and the availability to support 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. (over time support on weekends)
