Role Definition:
Leads Mexico area of responsibility security operations and programs through a risk-based approach by managing and developing security professionals, assessing security risks and providing decision support to business leaders, and developing, implementing, and monitoring area-specific policies, procedures, and practices that protect people, assets, information, and operations while supporting business continuity, risk mitigation, and business objectives.
Responsibilities
Develops, monitors, and updates the Mexico area of responsibility security risk profile; manages the collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of security-related information from local and regional sources, identifies emerging threats and trends, and provides timely risk assessments and mitigation recommendations to business and security leaders.
Develops and maintains liaison relationships with internal and external security professionals, government and law-enforcement contacts, private security companies, and local and regional networks; oversees security-related agreements and monitors security-service-provider compliance and performance.
Develops, implements, monitors, and updates regional security plans and standard operating procedures in alignment with enterprise requirements, business priorities, and area risk conditions.
Manages recruitment, onboarding, training, development, recognition, and performance of security professionals and oversees day-to-day security operations to promote consistent execution and adherence to enterprise security standards, compliance requirements, and safety expectations.
Oversees personnel, facility, and operational security programs across the Mexico area of responsibility and provides security guidance and risk-mitigation recommendations to business leaders and cross-functional partners in support of business objectives and continuity.
Coordinates district travel-security activities and supports crisis response, emergency preparedness, executive travel, and enterprise contingency operations.
Uses security metrics, assessment results, reporting, budget information, and process-improvement methods to evaluate program performance, prioritize resources, and support strategic enterprise initiatives.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor Degree related to the field.
Advanced English
Demonstrated experience in area risk assessments, crisis management, personnel safety, cultural intelligence, and geopolitical analysis.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex security information and communicate clear assessments, mitigation options, and recommendations to business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Expertise in leading regional security programs.

Facilitates collaboration, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional problem solving to deliver positive regional and organizational outcomes.
Personnel Security:
Develops and manages personnel security programs, policies, awareness initiatives, and incident-reporting procedures across diverse environments.
Leads threat analysis, workplace violence prevention, preparedness activities, and continuous improvement of people-focused security practices.
Security Management:
Oversees the implementation and effectiveness of access control, facility monitoring, patrol planning, investigations, and compliance with security procedures across large or multiple sites.
Reviews security levels, coordinates with law enforcement or security partners, and recommends improvements to strengthen operational controls.
Data Gathering and Reporting:
Leads data-gathering and reporting activities to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable regional security insights.
Reviews complex reports, validates data quality, and uses analysis to support cost-benefit evaluations, risk decisions, and security planning.
Training Programs Management:
Designs, manages, and evaluates security training programs aligned with business needs, regulatory expectations, and learner requirements.
Oversees training content, budgets, resources, schedules, and implementation plans while guiding trainers on effective program customization.

Expertise managing or overseeing contracted security-service providers, including service performance, compliance, and stakeholder relationships.

This role will be based onsite in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León
