Role Definition
Supports, teaches, and leads projects using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities
• Assisting in employing Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations to meet business goals and objectives.
• Supporting the design and development of Six Sigma program strategies and goals, including supporting systems and tools, for quality and business process improvements.
• Providing assistance in the implementation of Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements.
• Participating in planning, developing and implementing Six Sigma projects to meet specific quality and performance standards.

Project Administration: Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
Level Basic Understanding:
• Explains concepts of phase, activity and task.
• Provides examples of project data that is tracked.
• Identifies deliverables, resources and dependencies in project plans.
• Demonstrates a basic understanding of organizational project management practices and tools.

Active Learning: Understanding the necessity for continuous personal growth and learning; ability to gauge one's strengths, limitations and interests accurately, and use this knowledge for purposes of performance effectiveness self-development.
Level Basic Understanding:

Six Sigma Methodology: Knowledge of the concepts of Six Sigma methodology; ability to use the methodology to improve the processes and procedures and control the improvements by eliminating root causes.
Level Basic Understanding:
• Describes the basic components and functions of Six Sigma methodology.
• Lists tools used in Six Sigma methodology.
• Describes processes used in Six Sigma methodology.
• Identifies situations where using Six Sigma methodology is necessary.

This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
