The Human Resources Manager for the Cat Digital Division plays a critical role in supporting our AI & Analytics, Applications, and Platform Engineering teams as we continue to scale and evolve. Reporting to Cat Digital’s HR Director, this role partners closely with business leaders to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, provide guidance on HR policies and practices, and foster a culture of employee engagement, performance, and development.
The HR Manager will also collaborate and interact with Cat Digital team members across the globe, supporting a diverse and geographically distributed workforce. This role ensures our teams are supported, engaged, and empowered while aligning talent strategies to business priorities. The HR Manager provides strategic direction and leadership to business units across workforce planning, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborating with management as a strategic advisor, helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives aligned with business goals and organizational strategy.
- Aligning HR policies and programs for assigned business units to promote employee engagement, retention, and high performance.
- Acting as a trusted coach to leaders and managers, providing guidance on performance management, compensation, employee development, and organizational challenges.
- Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and develop data-driven insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Leading and developing a team of HR professionals while partnering with Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated, high-impact HR solutions.
- Driving organizational effectiveness initiatives, including assessments, change management, and implementation of programs to enhance team performance.
- Providing oversight and direction on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance and alignment with company values and policies.
What You Will Have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired
- Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to align HR strategies with business priorities and enable organizational performance.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Advanced ability to analyze complex situations, evaluate alternatives, and drive effective decisions using informed judgment and data.
- Effective Communications: Strong communication capabilities with the ability to influence, advise, and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Interpersonal Relationships: Ability to build strong partnerships, influence stakeholders, and work collaboratively across teams in a global, matrixed environment.
- Data Gathering and Reporting: Strong capability to analyze HR metrics and translate data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
- Employee Relations: Deep knowledge of employee relations practices and legal considerations; ability to manage complex situations with sound judgment and integrity.
- HR: Policies, Standards and Procedures: Strong understanding of HR disciplines; ability to lead the application and evolution of policies, standards, and practices across the organization.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, financial drivers, and organizational priorities; ability to translate business needs into effective HR strategies.
- Influencing: Ability to effectively influence decision-making, build consensus, and drive outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
- Leadership: Ability to lead teams, drive engagement, and deliver results through others while fostering a culture of accountability and development.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
- Previous experience supporting engineering, digital, or technology organizations
- Experience leading HR teams and operating in a global, matrixed environment
- Exposure to global HR practices, immigration, and/or mobility programs
- Strong background in HR consulting, talent management, and organizational development initiatives

Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
