About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our legal team in a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable legal professional. You will be working closely with corporate attorneys and business stakeholders, supporting a broad range of legal, governance, and contract management activities across Australia, New Zealand and the broader Asia Pacific.
This role offers significant variety and visibility. You will be responsible for supporting corporate governance processes across multiple legal entities, drafting and coordinating a range of legal documentation, and helping deliver efficient, high-quality legal support to the business. This role suits someone who thrives on managing competing priorities, works with a high level of accuracy and discretion, and enjoys contributing to strong legal and governance outcomes.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will provide high-quality paralegal and legal operations support, including:
providing corporate secretarial support across multiple legal entities in Australia and New Zealand, including board meetings and governance processes
supporting corporate attorneys with legal research, drafting a variety of commercial deeds and agreements, document review, and other legal tasks
assisting with the resolution of complex legal and governance matters under attorney supervision
maintaining and improving legal documentation, repositories, and internal procedures
conducting legal research and collating relevant legislation, case law, regulations, and legal materials to support legal advice and document preparation
managing contract lifecycle coordination, including intake, task allocation, stakeholder follow-up, and coordination of feedback and approvals
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong judgment, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a professional and confidential environment.
You will ideally bring:
a degree or equivalent relevant experience
strong experience in paralegal, legal operations, corporate governance, and/or in-house legal support roles
excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands
sound judgment and critical thinking skills
a strong understanding of confidentiality and the appropriate handling of sensitive information
experience working with legal documents, contract processes, and document management systems
well-developed legal research and legal analysis skills
