The Large Power Systems Division in Griffin, GA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Factory Manager to lead a high-performing manufacturing operation. This is more than a leadership role—it is a high-impact growth opportunity to shape the future of Caterpillar’s Griffin operations and play a pivotal role in supporting the accelerating global demand for large engine markets.
As Factory Manager, you will lead a fast-paced manufacturing environment with end-to-end accountability for manufacturing and assembly across four value streams. You will drive Operational Excellence through the disciplined execution of Lean principles, continuous improvement, and Built-In Quality, ensuring world-class safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. What you will do:
- Lead a large segment of plant operations across manufacturing and assembly in a high-paced, results-driven environment.
- Own performance across 4 value streams with direct impact on global customers and demand growth.

Skills you must have:

- Planning and Organizing: Extensive knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Extensive understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Manufacturing Operations: Expert knowledge of manufacturing operations; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products.
- Manufacturing Safety: Extensive knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment, and site.
- Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies: Extensive knowledge of organizational standards, procedures, and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
- Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required

Summary Pay Range:
$159,120.00 - $238,680.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
