We are seeking a highly skilled IS Specialist (Infor ION Integration Architect) to join our Applications Development & Intelligence Automation -CAT IT Division Bangalore Team.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office, KA-India

What you will do

We are seeking a highly skilled Infor ION Integration Architect with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be able to design and implement BOD-based data flows within ION Desk and ION API with both Infor and non-Infor applications utilizing standardized approaches and following enterprise security directives.

• Design and model integrations in ION Desk using connection points, mapping, scripting and other flow features for both Infor and non-Infor application integrations.
• Build and maintain ION Mappings for transformation across XML/BOD, JSON, File and Database integrations.
• Expose and consume services through ION API Gateway using appropriate OAuth 2.0 grants and scopes for secure API access.
• Apply hybrid connectivity with Enterprise Connectors for on-prem applications to ensure secure traversal of data to and from the Infor Cloud.
• Ensure compliance with Cybersecurity Enterprise Policies and Procedures, Information Security Directives (ISD), and Technical Security Baselines (TSB).
• Document integration standards and reusable patterns aligned with Infor and Industry best practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest Infor OS and ERP LN features, best practices, and industry trends.
• Support change management initiatives and provide post-implementation support.

What you will have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience delivering integrations for Infor ION, including modeling connection points and data flows in ION Desk.
• Strong understanding of BOD-centric integration design and extension, API gateway and security, database integrations using IO Box and XML SQL functions, and message queue configuration.
• Transformation experience in building and maintaining XSLT mappings and payload mappings between XML and JSON formats.
• Expert experience with programming languages including Python, C#, Java and PowerShell.
• Proficient knowledge of OneView traceability, Error BOD analysis and other troubleshooting practices through ION Desk and ION API.
• Excellent problem-solving of integration design challenges and error analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Broader Infor ecosystem familiarity with applications such as Infor LN, FT, WMS, IDM, and Birst.
• Understanding of the Enterprise Connector and hybrid integration patterns for on-prem and cloud data flows.
• Experience with performance and error handling strategies by incorporating various ION and ION API enhancements and capabilities for increased automation.
• A good understanding of application lifecycle management, change management, and production release mechanisms desired.
• Experience working in a global or multi-location environment.

Additional Information:

• Work Timings: 01:00 Noon -10:00PM IST

• This position requires the employee to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
