Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Analyst Applications (Senior SAP Functional Consultant) to Financial Systems CBS & eSAP-CAT IT Division.

The Incumbent will be responsible for working on the SAP/ERP deployment projects in the Finance area. Candidate should have a deep functional understanding of SAP Finance module and accounting background. He is responsible to deliver the implementation SAP project and manage functional activities including participating Blue printing workshops, preparing functional specs, Testing the development, migrating changes to Production.This team is responsible for managing the SAP implementation projects in the finance area.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office, KA -India

What you will do

• Working experience of Multiple End to End SAP implementation experience
• Working experience of understanding business requirements and translate them into Functional specifications
• Deep understanding of all financial activities in SAP
• Manage the finance activities during SAP deployments.
• Have the ability to analyze, understand impact and have a broader perspective on specific technical and functional issues in the SAP Finance domain.
• Good Team player and ability to work with cross functional teams
• Deep understanding of system integration with SAP systems
• Participate in problem resolution process involving customer and technical teams
• Coordinate, participate and occasionally lead small cross-functional teams, with participation from finance and non-finance professionals to ensure customer needs are being met with the systems
• Apply accounting knowledge and provide guidance on accounting issues
• Support deployments and manage the upgrade projects, Enhancements and provide support on critical issues on finance.

What you will have

• Accounting Degree or any Degree with a minimum of 4 years working experience on Finance (accounting process) in SAP.
• Overall 10+ years of Experience of Accounting & SAP financial systems / support experience.
• FICO Strong Functional configuration and 2 to 3 Implementation projects experience
• Proven record of strong initiative, leadership, accountability, and effective communication skills
• Strong Finance Background, AP, AR, GL, Costing and Tax processes, Finance systems, Strong knowledge in Month end closing activities
• Strong FICO Functional Experience in End 2 End implementation of SAP
• Strong SAP Techno Functional consultant Experience
• This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the Office.

Desired Qualifications:

• Any Certificates in Finance is a Plus

• Designs complex application architectures that meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.

• Plays an active or leading role in recording and storing requirement documents in various forms.
• Ensures the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis stage.
• Supervises the advanced use of requirements analysis tools and services, including prototyping and use cases.
• Produces detailed functional and information requirements models and documentation.
• Trains others on requirements walkthroughs and quality reviews.
• Utilizes automated diagramming tools to ensure traceability of requirements.

System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Designs and develops applications or technology interfaces and bridges.
• Documents existing best practices for system or technology integration processes.
• Identifies and quantifies risks of proposed alternatives to a system or technology integration initiative.
• Delivers training on major issues, interfaces, considerations and potential pitfalls and risks.
• Discusses with line areas on data, technology and application integration issues.
• Advises others in how to integrate projects across multiple technologies.

System Testing: Knowledge of system and software testing; ability to design, plan and execute system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Verifies the proper flow of transactions across all input, output and storage channels or devices.
• Evaluates interoperability of new systems with existing systems during the beta testing phase.
• Supervises the testing of complex, multi-platform and distributed applications.
• Designs processes to ensure that the system meets and maintains requirements and expectations.
• Coaches end users on the development of test data and test scenarios for system validation.
• Manages the execution of test plans, including resources, strategies, schedules, processes and tools.

Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Discovers, analyzes, and resolves hardware, software or application problems.
• Works with vendor-specific diagnostic guides, tools and utilities.
• Handles calls related to product features, applications, and compatibility standards.
