Role Summary:
As a Senior Lifecycle Consultant you will lead the integration and execution of aftermarket and lifecycle requirements for Medium Tractor Products (MTP) within New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. Provide technical expertise and cross-functional leadership to ensure alignment between product development, parts readiness, serviceability, and lifecycle performance.
Additionally, you will operate at the intersection of engineering, product support, and supply chain—driving data-informed decisions that improve customer uptime, service outcomes, and long-term product value across MTP platforms.
What You Will Do (Job Duties):
Lead execution of aftermarket deliverables across NPI programs, ensuring parts, service solutions, and lifecycle support are launch-ready
Partner with engineering to embed serviceability, condition monitoring insights, and lifecycle requirements into product design decisions
Use data and analytics to identify risks and opportunities related to parts performance, service outcomes, and lifecycle health
Assess and apply emerging technologies, including AI and digital solutions, to enhance aftermarket performance and decision-making
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve parts availability, service and repair solutions, and lifecycle performance
Identify and resolve complex operational and supply challenges, including parts constraints and product introduction risks
Leverage field, dealer, and product performance insights to guide lifecycle and aftermarket decisions
Define and monitor key metrics to measure aftermarket readiness, availability, and performance outcomes
Align engineering, supply chain, and product support teams to drive consistent execution
Lead projects and deliver results by influencing cross-functional and global stakeholders

Top Candidates Will Have:
Eight or more years of experience in engineering, product support, aftermarket, or lifecycle management within heavy equipment or similar industries
Proven experience leading or supporting NPI programs, with accountability for parts readiness, serviceability, and launch execution
Strong understanding of parts operations, supply chain constraints, and dealer/service networks
Demonstrated ability to influence engineering decisions by embedding serviceability, reliability, and lifecycle considerations into product design
Experience using data, analytics, and emerging AI/digital tools to drive decisions on parts performance and lifecycle health
Track record of resolving complex parts availability, supply risks, and product introduction challenges in cross-functional environments
Additional Information:
The location for this position is in Peoria, IL.

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
