As a Product Auditor (IRA Counter) at Caterpillar you will ensure inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits while maintaining timely and accurate system records. Adhere to established procedures and safety standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Effectively manage multiple priorities, using strong problem-solving skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

  • Perform cycle counts, full physical inventories, and required audits to ensure accurate inventory quantities and locations

  • Maintain accurate inventory records by updating systems and reviewing transactional data in a timely manner

  • Follow established procedures, standard work, audit guidelines, and safety protocols to ensure compliance

  • Collaborate with operations, scheduling, and cross-functional teams to minimize disruption and implement corrective actions

  • Drive process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency

  • Utilize independent decision-making and problem-solving skills to complete tasks effectively

  • Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of logistics, warehouse, or supply chain experience

  • Ability to follow standard work instructions and procedures

  • Basic computer skills

  • Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Working knowledge of SAP

  • Familiarity with IRA/IDA processes

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products, systems, and processes

  • Focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency

Additional Information

Shift: 1st

Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Mandatory overtime on Fridays as business need requires.

Work location: Waco, TX – Orchard Lane

Compensation range: $20.70 - $26.90
