Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Salary: £27,000 to £32,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Benefits:
25 days annual leave
Up to 9% bonus
Contributory pension scheme - Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution Up to 10%
Contributory share scheme - Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee's contribution.

Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) has worldwide responsibility for the design and manufacturing of 0.5L-18L engines as well as worldwide responsibility for sales, support and marketing of industrial engines 0.5-64L and Caterpillar Defense. Job Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the legal department as an administrative assistant, supporting the business in a busy, fast paced, and varied role where you can provide excellent customer service skills.
In this role you will provide confidential, clerical, flexible assistance and administrative support to the legal department and other team members to allow for more efficient operations.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
To provide clerical support to managers and the team and the job duties are as follows but not limited to:
Extensive diary management, scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars.
Coordinate communications by receiving and passing along e-mails, notices, etc.
Assist with providing an efficient correspondence via email and phone.
Manage expenses and processing.
Offering a highly confidential, flexible administrative support function.
Operate a PC and standard software programs.
Assist with organising all UK and overseas travel arrangements.
Maintain staff attendance records for holidays, sick days, personal time, etc.
Prepare presentation materials as needed.
Maintain records and prepare reports such as organization charts, phone lists, records retention,
budget information, etc.Arrange customer/dealer/consultant visits including lodging, meals, scheduling, meetings, etc.
Provide routine maintenance for equipment such as fax, copier, printer, etc. by adding toner,
changing settings or calling for support, etc.Provide other routine administrative duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision:
High attention to detail with strong time management and organisation skills
Strong administration skills
Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change:
PA Experience dealing with senior leaders would be an advantage
Able to work to tight deadlines whilst prioritising workload
Flexible and adaptable to change
Self-motivated with a proactive approach
Microsoft Office: Knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to use the features and functions in Microsoft Office products:
Highly proficient in Microsoft office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong ability to prepare presentation materials with excellent visual skills and presentations PowerPoint
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Able to operate with integrity, always maintaining confidentiality
Strong communication skills
Prior experience within the legal or compliance industry would be considered advantageous.
