Role:

Maximizes external supplier performance through understanding our supply network.

This position is the accountable authority for the quality, governance, and lifecycle management of material master data across the organization. This role ensures that material data is accurate, standardized, compliant, and fit-for-purpose to support business operations such as procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, finance, and supply chain planning.

The Material Master Owner acts as the data decision-maker, setting rules and approving changes, while working closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, IT, and process owners

What the candidate will do:

  • Acts as the SAP Local Change Coordinator
  • Coordination and communication of engineering changes within the Mach 1 system.
  • Receiving Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s) from the Engineering Data System (EDS) and communicating the changes to the affected areas (i.e. process engineers, logistics, quality, procurement, scheduler).
  • Monitoring changes and effectivity dates.
  • SAP Site Security
  • account management process support
  • Ensure consistent SAP security practices are followed
  • Ensure Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance
  • Reviewing/approving all access requests for users.
  • Managing new SAP releases
  • Coordinating/communicating changes with Power Users
  • Coordinating training and integration testing for Power Users
  • Leading resolution of systemic SAP issues
  • Act as the SAP Material Master Owner (MMO)
  • Maintaining material masters that contain information on all the materials that the facility procures, produces, stores and sells
  • Creating change masters
  • Prepare spreadsheet templates to request new or revised part material masters
  • Communicate with the appropriate departments when changes are complete (i.e. process engineers, logistics, quality, procurement)
  • Leading resolution of systemic SAP issues
  • Participate/Assist in RIW’s
  • Managing new SAP releases
  • Analyze data and report out in data visualization format

Education requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineer Administrator, Industrial Designer or Related Careers
  • Intermediate English Conversational

What skills the ideal candidate will have:

Accuracy and Attention to Detail:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in operations and documentation.

Analytical Thinking:

  • Ability to analyze operational and supply chain data (minimum 2 years in Supply Chain functions).

Collaboration:

  • Skilled in coordinating teams and working effectively with cross‑functional groups.

Materials Handling and Management:

  • Background in Supply Chain processes (minimum 2 years).
  • Advanced SAP proficiency (2 to 5 years), specifically in inventory, logistics, and materials management.

Problem Solving:

  • Ability to manage projects and drive follow‑up on improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level) for analysis and issue resolution.

The best candidates will also have:

  • Advanced Conversational English
  • Intermediate SAP proficiency (CBS, MM)
  • Background in similar roles for 1 to 2 years

Additional information:

Location: Santa Catarina

This position works Monday through Friday and requires full schedule availability
