Job Title: Site Electrification & Energy Specialist (Bilingual)
Location: Munich
There is a requirement of working 5 days a week in the office when not travelling.

The opportunity
The Site Electrification & Energy Specialist will utilise problem-solving skills and apply technical knowledge to support the customer to deploy pilot projects and/or business development. The problems encountered are often unique, and solutions can require non-traditional approaches as well as innovation and an excellent collaboration with various partners on site.
This is a targeted support role responsible to support the configuration, the deployment, and the support on site of applications and technology for all electrification and advanced power solutions projects delivered in Europe.
What you will do:
Work with the customer to analyse their current site operation and propose technical and economic viable solutions to achieve the customer productivity and economic targets.
Coordinate activities on site and with partners to accomplish project deliverables.
Support the deployment of electrified solutions in collaboration with new product introduction teams at customer sites.
Provide close field support for successful pilot execution and new technology introduction on site.
Develop solutions for field pilots execution by partnering with internal teams across verticals or propose and follow-up on external business partners opportunities
Document and measure learning objectives through disciplined, fact-based methodologies.
Monitor system performance.
Communicate test results and pilot findings with key stakeholders.
What you will have:
Customer Focus:
Significantly progressive job-related experience – ideally within the Construction and/or Power Generation industries transitioning to electrified solutions.
Ability to leverage customer site information in creating customised customer solutions – preferably for battery, hybrid and grid integrations.
Research, verify and communicate customer needs and expectations and communicate them to the organization
Solicits customer satisfaction feedback and acts on improvement opportunities.
Technical Excellence:
Demonstrable experience with resolving customer problems by finding suitable product and integrated systems in electrification.
Ability to understand Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and assess the impact of economics within electrification.
Experience with supporting the deployment of developed solutions on customer sites.
Understanding of energy management systems and electricity bill reduction processes to improve TCO.
Value Selling:
Ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs within electrification.
Ability to present, negotiate and convince the customer of the best economic scenario for the electrification of sites, capturing the sustainability goal of the customer.
Coaches others on the application of 'value selling' principles and practices.
Effective Communications:
Ability to communicate complex technical issues and commercial strategies to all levels of the organization and find partners to develop solutions.
Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for customers, partners and executive leadership.
Relationship Management:
Ability to navigate and influence in a large matrix organization.
Provides prompt and effective responses to customer requests and interactions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Works with customer to address critical issues and resolve major problems.
Uses active listening and probing techniques to surface problems, issues, and interests.
Languages:
Fluent in English and German.
Additional Information:
There is a 50-70% travel requirement for this role.
