Work as NPI coordination in Small Engine Product Group, you will work with NPI program Managers and program team to deliver multiple NPI/NSI/Current product programs and projects. This role will also overall manage the new list introduction to IPSD Wuxi and implement lean methodology to keep continuous improvement of process and quality.

W hat You Will Do:

• Coordinating with the businesses, sales, marketing, and platform groups to manage resources for each deliverable within the project.

• Coordinating with customers and cross functions; ensuring effective use of project controls and reporting mechanisms. Works as NPI coordinator to support NPI/NSI programs:

1, Align with NPI team, customer interface, application to define the con figurations of Validation/pilot engines

2, Leading on the validation and pilot engines build and support NPI program move to mass production, arrange and manage line audit and PPAP build.

3, Cooperate with Program Managers closely to get all the required engine build in time, as plan and with good quality.

• Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.

• Manage small engine new list introduction to IPSD Wuxi.

1, Manage the introduction plan and Drum Beat process.

2, Manage the issues resolving.

3, Implement lean methodology to new list introduction, such as BIQ.

4, Lead on continuous improvement on process and quality.

• Influencing project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members.

• Mange the Conformity of Production test for IPSD Wuxi: align the test plan with global engineering and regulation team and arrange the test engine build and coordinate the tests.

What Skills You Will Have:

• Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

• Products and Services: Knowledge of diesel engine products, manufacturing  and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.

• Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.

• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours. Coordinating global NPI program, basic English communication required.

• Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

• Customer Service Management: Knowledge of customer service priorities and ability to utilize tools and techniques for maintaining an environment where all understand and are committed to providing excellent service to internal and external customers.

• Program Management: Knowledge of the policies and techniques to manage a set of related projects within a program; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control the set of projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve program objectives.

• Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Knowledge of design for manufacturability guidelines, methodologies, and use cases; ability to use this knowledge to optimize product designs and manufacturing operations.

• Could work under pressure and with urgency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or associate degree with Mechanical Engineering

• Working experience with product design, configuration, manufacturing engineering, quality management, production for internal combustion engines.

Desired Qualifications:

• Basic engine knowledge with engine or engine manufacturing

• Good communication skills

• Good leadership to coordinate with cross functions

• Basic English communication skills required

Additional Information:

• 10% travel
