Role Definition

As an Electric Power (EP) Marketing Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for creating the marketing materials that communicate the value of EP Business Development to our customers, dealers and business partners.  You will manage communications, training events (virtual/in person), and internal content creation for all EP Business Development initiatives, helping the team drive tremendous value for our customers through our Integrated Customer Offerings (ICOs)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Development team with marketing content that communicates the value of Business Development and ICOs to dealers and customers. 

  • Supports day-to-day sales activities by providing information and assistance to customers and internal organizations.

  • Leverage your creative writing and content creation (graphics and video) skills to develop and maintain marketing materials and internal/external communications.  This includes but is not limited to newsletters, videos, brochures, websites, training materials, software release notes, outage notifications, etc.

  • Analyze and measure data and key insights to enhance and optimize future content and communication channels based on audience engagement and trends.

  • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external training events, bringing back critical VOC & VOD back to the enterprise.

  • Support Industry Events

  • Manage the customer and dealer feedback process to document, drive and communicate deployment of ICOs based on customer needs.

  • Create and communicate monthly sales reports to division leadership.

  • Participate in sales and marketing strategy projects.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint)

  • Relocation is available for this position

  • This role could have up to 25% domestic and international travel

  • Preferred additional languages: Spanish and Portuguese

  • Preferred Bachelors’ degree in marketing, communications, or related field

  • This position is currently a hybrid in-office work model, requiring a 3-day weekly office presence onsite at our (location) office and remote work for the remaining days. However, work arrangements may be adjusted at any time based on business needs.

Summary Pay Range:

$87,480.00 - $131,280.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
