This position is responsible for the Resource Industries segment (Asia Pacific Region) sales and services strategy, financial reporting, business analysis and decision support.

Primary business partner and trusted adviser supporting the Go-to-Market (Commercial) team for the region.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Monthly financial reporting, forecasting and decision support

  • Analyze, explain and present regional financial performance

  • Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations to leadership

  • Process improvement, automation and Digital Finance initiatives

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to initiate, lead, or support business unit or corporate initiatives

  • Commercial deal analysis and Investment analysis

Strategic thought partner to the business General Managers within Resource Industries for the region - Provide business insights and support for the Commercial organizations, including pricing, sales variance and variable margin analysis. Support profitability analysis and makes proposal of path to follow to pursue growth.

This role is also responsible for ensuring financial reporting integrity including compliance requirements, optimization of short and long-term value creation and profitability, a strong control environment and the achievement of other financial and non-financial objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible job-related experience

  • A bachelor’s degree preferably in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting

  • MBA, Certified Accountant, or Master's degree in a business-related field.

  • Communication and executive presence.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to influence, engage with a team across multiple geographic locations – nationally & internationally.
