Job Summary:
Lead and optimize machining processes across the assigned plant area to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production that meets established manufacturing requirements. This role owns the overall direction of the value stream(s), with accountability for PQVC performance, process stability, throughput, defect reduction, and continuous improvement in machining operations. Reporting directly to this position are Section Managers and various levels of Operations support personnel.
What You Will Do:
- Ensure effective operation of an assigned area of manufacturing to meet established schedules and production requirements while maintaining cost.
- Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and manpower to achieve manufacturing cost, quality, and inventory management target.
- Monitors customer delivery performance, cost reduction programs, lead-time improvements, and quality improvement projects that will enhance customer value and business unit results.
- Establishes cost and quality goals and ensures the efficient integration of factory, logistics, maintenance and quality to achieve targets for assigned area.
- Ensures proper direction and supervision of activities in assigned area to maintain effective utilization of personnel and machinery.
- Implement various corporate initiatives such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification, etc.
- Promotes development of people through continued education, employee involvement, increased responsibility and ergonomics.
- Trains new supervisors on manufacturing quality.
- Sets goals and assists team in meeting quality goals/standards.
- In this role, you will oversee all plant production lines and be assigned to a crew operating on a 4x12 rotating shift pattern.
Degree Requirement:
- Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Expert in Machining processes
- Advanced English.

Additional information
- Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon.
- This position is six-day a week in-office model.
- Requires working weekends, based on business continuity needs
