Caterpillar’s Athens facility is seeking a professional, welcoming, and customer service oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for facility and department heads. This role is essential in creating a positive leader and guest experience, often acting as the first face to the Athens facility for senior leaders and high value visitors.
What You’ll Do (Job Duties)
• Schedule meetings, appointments and maintain calendars for senior leadership
• Prepare, edit and format documents, reports and presentations
• Maintaining master copies of organizational policy and procedure manuals and keeping them up-to-date
• Typing and distributing memos, and taking detailed meeting minutes
• Order and manage office supplies and equipment
• Coordinate meetings, including room setup and materials preparation
• Assist with event planning and coordination as needed
• Support special projects and provide general administrative assistance to staff and leadership
• Facilitating domestic and international travel arrangements; assisting in payments, expense processing, and charge card reconciliation.

Top Candidates Will Also Have
• Experience supporting or interfacing regularly with senior leadership
• Experience managing purchases, managing a budget, and filing expense reports
• Experience supporting and communicating with managers across multiple departments
• Demonstrated ability to develop professional written communications such as memo’s, announcements and general billboard communications
• Manufacturing industry experience
Summary Pay Range:
$25.10 - $37.60Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
