Job Summary:

Oversee daily production operations at large or multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring efficient and smooth workflows with a strong focus on precision machining environments (CNC, multi-axis, high-tolerance processes).

Responsibilities:

• Lead staffing, development, and performance programs for operations staff including machinists, CNC programmers, and manufacturing technicians.

• Ensure safety, scheduling, and performance standards are consistently met in machining environments (spindle utilization, tool life, cycle time).

• Implement measures to enhance safety, reduce costs, and assure quality through machining process optimization (tooling, feeds/speeds, scrap reduction).

• Maintain regulatory compliance and a safe work environment including machine guarding and process controls.

• Drive continuous improvement (OEE, SMED, Lean machining).

• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to optimize CNC programs and fixturing.

• Oversee machining capacity planning across multi-axis equipment.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relates to the field

• Advanced English

Skills:

Production Training:

• Assess skill gaps and train on CNC (3/4/5-axis), turning and grinding.

• Oversee setup for high-precision jobs.

• Measure effectiveness in GD&T, tooling, and Cp/Cpk.

Problem Solving:

• Capture and share solutions from problem-solving efforts.

• Assemble teams to address issues efficiently.

• Apply various techniques and standardize practices.

Influencing:

• Persuade stakeholders even when in the minority.

• Present convincing assessments to decision-makers.

• Advise on building rapport and adapting to different styles.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

• Adjust quickly to changes and new assignments.

• Remain open-minded and responsive to alternative ideas.

• Provide ongoing feedback and set clear goals.

• Address performance issues early and recognize achievements.

• Quantify risks and benefits before making recommendations.

Additional Information:

• Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon.

• This position is five-day a week in-office model.
