Responsibilities
1. Work with internal customers and team members to develop and manage the project plan;
2. Conceive and provides practical and improved product design applications. Conceive complex product designs and preparing design models. Supports engineers and technologists in defining configuration and helps resolve design issues.
3. Conceive complex product design concepts and prepare design models using Creo;
4. Refines and improves product designs by investigating and developing solutions to product design problems;
5. Creating the 3D representation of components from a design skeleton following model quality requirements and functional requirements;
6. Assist internal clients in Fit/Form/Function analysis and resolving Teamcenter/Creo/EDS issues;
7. Check 2D drawings and engineering notices against CAT engineering standards
8. Resolve model check errors and self-check the drawings and models;
9. Provide on-site support to internal customers per request, construct concept design of high complex components;
10. Ensure the responsible projects meet the goals of quality (3D model and 2D drawing), time, and efficiency.

Requirements
1. Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering (mechanical, vehicle, material, hydraulic, or engine) curriculum.
2. Minimum 10 years of relevant component/system design experience
3. High level of proficiency in Creo or other modeling or simulation tools
4. Strong initiative, accountability and customer focus
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
6. Good to Excellent in English (reading, writing and speaking)
7. Good knowledge of Geometry Dimensioning & Tolerance
