It's More Than a Job, It's a Career

The Cybersecurity Analyst, High Value Data Protection leads the enterprise's efforts to appropriately secure high value technical information. The incumbent provides infrastructure expertise and is the subject matter expert for the high value data environment. The role delivers Level 2 and higher incident resolution, creates support processes and procedures, manages environment logical technical architecture and firewall rules. This position also designs and implements security monitoring. The incumbent ensures compliance with enterprise policies, procedures, and information security directives. The incumbent partners with data owners in conducting relative risk assessments and drives security recommendations to completion. Experience/expertise with automation is preferred.
 

What You Will Do: 

  • Design and maintain security policies and protocols; ensure to identify and defend security breaches and risks.

  • Maintain vulnerability testing, risk assessments, and security checks; implement measures to prevent cyber security risk and threats.

  • Research cyber security standards, security systems, and the latest validation and authentication procedures and report on their applicability for different IT environments.

What You Have:

Cybersecurity Standards and Policies:

  • Knowledge of developing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures; ability to develop and communicate policies, standards and procedures that guide interactions with customers.

Information Security Management:

  • Knowledge of the processes, tools, and techniques of information security management; ability to deploy and monitor information security systems, while detecting, controlling, and preventing violations of IT security.

Information Security Technologies:

  • Knowledge of technologies and technology-based solutions dealing with information security issues; ability to protect information security across the organization using encryption technologies and appropriate security software.

Information Technology (IT) Security Policies:

  • Knowledge of IT security policies, standards, and procedures; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to ensure cyber security compliance.

System and Technology Integration:

  • Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases, and technology platforms.

Cyber Security:

  • Knowledge of cyber-attacks and the defenses used; ability to defend and prevent electronic threats, theft, and attacks.

Additional Info :

  • The primary location for this position is Peoria, IL, Irving, TX or Nashville, TN. You must be willing to work ONSITE 3 DAYS A WEEK.

Summary Pay Range:

$87,480.00 - $131,280.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
