Caterpillar’s Rental & Used division is hiring a Marketing Program Analyst to oversee the administration of the Global Allied Vendor Program. This role involves direct interaction with both domestic and international vendors and dealers, requiring strong problem-solving abilities, issue adjudication, excellent communication skills, and effective program management. The ability to interface seamlessly with all levels of management is essential. Familiarity with Allied products (Non-Caterpillar), their applications and markets to assist Dealers in diversifying their rental fleet mix of products will also prove useful for an individual in this role.

What You Will Do:       

  • Collect and manage Allied Vendor RFQ pricing, commercial terms, quarterly reporting and vendor contact information.
  • Plan and execute the Allied Vendor Product Fair and Reception​.
  • Support rental product training events, attend trade shows and vendor facilities as needed. 
  • Support team meetings and resolve issues with vendors and dealers. 
  • Onboard new vendors, including setting up as dealer suppliers and creating webpages. 
  • Train new vendor personnel on website usage and reporting sales. 
  • Maintain and update the website and relevant files. 
  • Review and compare annual Vendor RFQ pricing submission against corporate goals for cost reductions and improved commercial terms.

  • Relationship Management : Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Vendor/Supplier Management : Works with vendors to assure that products or services are delivered to time and quality specifications; Examples of resolving routine issues.   

Top Candidates Will Also Have:      

  • Experience interfacing with OEM’s who support the equipment rental industry and dealers / branches who are engaged in renting equipment to end users 
  • Basic understanding of the equipment rental business model including the importance of sales and service training and marketing initiatives  
  • Experience in planning off-site meetings and nationwide events 

Additional Details   

  • Location: Cary, NC 
  • Caterpillar operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week of onsite, in office work. 
  • Travel: up to 20 %, domestic and international

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
