Job Title: Regional Payroll Manager

Salary: From £91,000 (depending on experience)

Location : Peterborough

Opportunity

The Regional Payroll Manager works closely with payroll teams in a geographical region to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with all jurisdictional obligations.  Provides strategic direction and guidance to ensure payroll processes are efficient.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee payroll processing for multiple locations to ensure payrolls are calculated properly and employees paid timely.

  • Collaborate with HR business partners and others to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.

  • Provide guidance and support on complex payroll issues to mitigate / eliminate disruptions in the pay processes.

  • Develop and continually implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Ensure compliance with related laws and regulations, including tax.

  • Manage performance of team members to ensure professional development goals are achieved.
     

What You Have:

The ideal candidate will have extensive skills in Global payroll strategy, specifically Asia Pacific countries.

  • Core Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.

  • Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.

  • Conflict Management: Knowledge of managing conflicts; ability to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.

  • Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.

  • Payroll Management: Knowledge of payroll policy and methods; ability to use tools, techniques and processes to manage employee payroll and benefits operations.

  • Payroll Administration: Knowledge of policies, operations and standards related to payroll; ability to establish, implement, and administer policies, procedures, and systems for confidentially calculating, preparing and distributing payrolls.

Additional Information:

  • Locations: Hybrid role based on Peterborough, offering 3 days in the facility and 2 from home.

  • Relocation support is offered for the ideal candidate
