The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for the Resource Industries segment (Americas Region) sales and services financial reporting, business analysis and decision support.

This role will provide financial counsel for complex, broad traditional and non-traditional financial Analysis, commercial deals, and other projects and/or initiatives to the leadership team (which could include CFO’s, Directors and/or Vice Presidents).

What you will do:

  • Monthly financial reporting, forecasting and decision support
  • Analyze, explain and present regional financial performance
  • Perform accounting review of legal documents
  • Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and recommendations to leadership
  • Drive process improvement, automation and support Digital Finance initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to initiate, lead, or support business unit or corporate initiatives
  • Commercial deal analysis and investment analysis

What You Have:                          

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
    Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
  • Financial Analysis : Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Digital Finance experience, including visualization tools (i.e Power BI)
  • Process improvement and analytical mindset
  • Strong ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadership
  • Ability to take an Enterprise point of view and lead with our Values in Action
  • Strong ability to work proactively to complete tasks

Additional Info :

  • This position will be located in our Tucson, AZ office
  • This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
  • Sponsorship is not available
  • International and Domestic travel up to 5%
