Caterpillar has an exciting opportunity for a Risk & Compliance Professional. Caterpillar’s Enterprise Compliance Program Team oversees the company’s Compliance Program and plays a critical role in promoting ethical conduct and regulatory adherence across the organization. Caterpillar offers an exceptional compliance framework, and as a Risk & Compliance Professional, you will have the opportunity to join this team within the Law, Security and Public Policy (LSPP) organization.

This role supports Caterpillar’s Enterprise Compliance Program by strengthening governance and ensuring the effective management of processes that sustain compliance initiatives across the organization. The position provides oversight and coordination of compliance communications and enterprise learning enabling consistent, well‑governed program execution.

In addition, this role serves a critical leadership function by managing and executing high‑impact compliance events and engagement activities. These efforts are designed to elevate awareness, strengthen leadership alignment and drive adoption of the compliance program at all levels of the organization.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and execute enterprise compliance communications, including development of messaging, campaigns and materials that support compliance program objectives.

  • Partner with Risk Advisors, Legal and Compliance stakeholders to enhance communication effectiveness, learning engagement and overall program impact.

  • Support compliance learning, onboarding and engagement initiatives, including deployment across LMS and enterprise platforms.

  • Manage compliance events, forums and engagement activities to drive awareness and program adoption.

  • Support data gathering, reporting and analysis to monitor program effectiveness, identify trends and drive continuous improvement.

What You Have:

  • Education/Experience: Degree or equivalent experience desired

  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

  • Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations

Successful Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Ability to effectively communicate and build credibility with managers at all organizational levels, including senior leadership, supported by strong oral and presentation skills.

  • Strong understanding of Caterpillar’s Compliance Program, Our Values in Action and Enterprise Policies and Procedures.

  • Progressive experience in compliance, risk management, governance, communications, learning programs, or policy administration preferred.

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
