Caterpillar’s Customer Solutions Core Regions Division (CSCR) has an open position as Senior Manager Finance supporting the acceleration and scaling of our digital and technology-enabled solutions. This will role will provide direct support to the Vice President, Technology and the Vice President, Technology Product Management and their teams.

What you will do:

  • Support on execution of new business models/new deals
  • Provide financial analysis on technology NPI
  • Monthly reporting across stakeholders
  • Target setting processes, including dealer targets
  • Strategic partner to technology leadership teams to accelerate digital and technology-enabled solutions
  • Collaborate with regional teams to scale solutions
  • Ad hoc project leadership

What skills you will have:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business and/or 5+ years equivalent experience
  • Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material. Adapts financial analysis methods to support organizational goals.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Explains the organization's business model.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Makes sound business decisions on behalf of the group when faced with complex and contradictory alternatives.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Location: Peoria, IL (primary), Irving TX (secondary)
  • Required Travel: Travel up to 15%

Summary Pay Range:

$159,120.00 - $238,680.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
