The Finance Services Division has a new opening within a team that is part of the Regional Treasury Center, covering Europe, Africa, Eurasia, and the Middle East (EAME), located in Geneva.
As a Senior Financial , you will lead the cash and liquidity management for EAME ensuring adequate access to funds for all entities in the region as well as maximizing the return for short-term investments.
What You Will Do:
- Optimize global cash and liquidity to support enterprise cash as In House Bank
- Manage short-term investment strategy
- Monitor and optimize foreign exchange market conditions and other financial derivatives to adjust market risks on an appropriate level
- Assesses financial risks of forecasted transactions using modelling capabilities of in-house applications
- Maintain strong bank relationships
What You Have:
- Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.
- Tactical and Strategic Planning: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Knowledge of Financial Markets: products, types, competitors, customer base, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments.
- Knowledge of tools and approaches of Financial Analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
Top Candidates Also Have:
- Degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting, Business Management / Administration, Data Science for Business / Data Engineers / Machine Learning, Communication and Digital Media.
- 5 years of experience in a multinational company in treasury, trading and/or investment
Additional Information:
- A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
- Hybrid work policy: 3 days per week from the Geneva office.
