Caterpillar currently has an opportunity for an Engineering Intern , in our Oil & Gas Division in Singapore, for a period of 3 months.
What You Will Do:
-
Working across all functional lines, you will be assigned a combination of responsibilities in performing engineering design and calculations, drawings creation, organization of design reviews, and basic project management.

Learn about Surface Wellhead Products and Ancillary equipment
-
Learn Oil and Gas related engineering processes.

Learn engineering softwares such as Solidworks, Autocad, Mathcad, etc.

Perform basic engineering design verification such as calculations and FEA for different wellhead products
-
Perform basic engineering design validation such as stack-up tests for different wellhead products
-
Participate in engineering design meetings and training courses
What You Have:
-
Undergraduates pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

Proficient in MS office (such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and Solidworks
-
Fast learner
-
Good written and verbal English communication skills to communicate with all levels of external and internal personnel

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies
Additional Info:
This position is on 5-day work week, with 3 days required in the office for optimal collaboration. The office is located at 57 Mohamed Sultan Road.
