Role Definition

As a Senior Tax Analyst – International Tax, you will support the U.S. international tax, transfer pricing and local international tax issues relating to Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation (CFSC) and its Subsidiaries.  This experienced tax professional will be a valued member on a team that performs complex compliance and provision activities, leads and/or supports special projects, and provides support for income tax audits. The role will challenge you to combine technical and business knowledge to complete a high-quality work product, adapt to a rapidly changing legislative environment by documenting compliance positions and demonstrate critical thinking skills through the implementation of controls and analysis.

Responsibilities

•    Prepare complex international compliance computations for earnings and profits, Subpart F, GILTI, and U.S. International forms, including Form 5471 and 8858
•    Work closely with business partners and technical specialists to ensure appropriate preparation and review on technical areas
•    Prepare accurate and timely analysis and reporting for U.S. GAAP Accounting for Income Tax (ASC 740) related to federal tax provision estimates
•    Provide support for Canadian tax issues relating to CFSC’s Canadian Subsidiaries, including preparation of the Canadian federal and provincial income tax returns, estimated tax payments and thin cap analysis
•    Leading or supporting projects related to process improvements, implementation of controls, or other planning initiatives
•    Analyzing and developing responses to support tax authority inquiries with oversight by management

Degree Requirement

This position typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and 4+ years of progressively responsible tax related experience.  A Master’s Degree in Taxation and a CPA are preferred.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:
•    Base understanding of U.S. international taxation, including earnings & profits and income inclusions
•    Experience with Corptax software
•    Strong knowledge of M365 and familiarity with PowerBI

Summary Pay Range:

$92,880.00 - $160,788.00
