Job Summary:
Lead a team of program and project management professionals who are assigned to multiple individual programs or projects. Direct reports would include Project Coordinators & Specialists, along with the Innovation team of DBAs and reporting specialists. Direct day to day work assignments while coaching, mentoring, and setting priorities.
What You Will Do:
Team will be expected to complete complex programs in one or more business sectors and manage programs on time and within budget, while meeting the requirements of the customer. Additionally, due to the technical nature of the work of the Innovation team of DBAs and reporting specialists, a background in software development and/or database administration is highly desired.
As a manager, the individual will first be accountable for the oversight of multiple coordinators and specialists (15-20) and the programs they are executing.
Key areas of responsibility are planning and managing the budget for the team; provide a supportive work environment for the team; oversee the hiring, development and management of all staff, including internal staff and external contractors. Direct day to day work assignments while coaching, mentoring, and setting priorities.
Position will typically support a diverse customer base with differing program management requirements and will often provide high-end project management services such as portfolio resource management and cost management.
The incumbent’s team will be focusing on multiple programs in this assignment. The Manager role accounts for 75% of this assignment and the incumbent will have a smaller role of leading programs.
Incumbent must be knowledgeable and ensure that all division or department governance processes are followed when necessary. Additionally, must develop networks and execute a communication strategy to assist the program managers to obtain resources and cooperation needed, and remove roadblocks so that they can ensure the success of their team.
This manager roles spends considerable amount of time developing new business partner relationships (ie. New business development) and maintaining customer satisfaction for existing business partners.
This level of leader will have had one or more previous team leader assignments. Previous supervisory experience is highly desired but not required.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree strongly desired or equivalent working experience (10+ years)

The location for this position is Peoria, IL.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
This position will require less than 10% travel.

Summary Pay Range:
