Description:
We have an exciting position open within Caterpillar as the Resource Industries Electrification Solutions Finance Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with the value stream organization, influence and support strategic business decisions, and manage the overall financial performance of the business. This high-visibility role has regular exposure to senior division leadership, including the Senior Vice President, RI Electrification Vice President, and the Division CFO.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial analysis and reporting for the RI Electrification Solutions business, including the Profit & Loss, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet.
- Provide insights on the financial results of the business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Implement new tools and analytics to continuously improve financial analysis and business insights.
- Support and manage the RI Electrification Solutions business to achieve annual business plan targets.
- Support RI Electrification Solutions strategic planning, including long-term strategic development and short-term tactical planning to ensure growth and financial success for the business.
- Guide RI Electrification Solutions business analysis, providing business insights in the processes like target costs, cost monitoring, new product introduction analysis, total cost of ownership analysis, investment analysis, and sourcing.
- Implement new tools and analytics to continuously improve business partnering.
- Drive effective and strong coordination with partners across the business.
- Lead, influence, and interact with a global and diverse team with a focus on talent development, succession planning, performance management, and target setting.
Background / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline
- 7-10 years of progressively responsible job-related experience

- MBA, Accounting Certification (CPA / CMA), or Master’s degree in a business-related field
- Communication and executive presence
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong people leadership and organization capability building
- Ability to influence and engage with a team across multiple geographic locations – domestically & internationally
- Strong ability to collaborate and partner across peers and leadership
- Ability to take an enterprise point of view and lead with values
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Additional Details:
- Location: Tucson, AZ or Mossville, IL
- Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify
- 10-15% travel is expected
