SPM Oil & Gas, A Caterpillar Company is currently looking for a Supply Chain Analyst in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Supply Chain analyst, you are responsible for supporting analyses such as inventory management and make v. buy analysis. Presenting results, conclusions, and recommendations to management teams. Identifying and proposing additional supply chain tools and processes which could benefit the company. Will be the day-to-day point of contact for the planning and production to assist in the resolution of inventory management, reporting, evaluation of what-if simulations and similar demand vs. supply conflicts.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for large data collection, analysis, design and publication using Power BI

Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to supply chain

Monitor forecast and safety stock while managing the manufacturing strategy (MTS/ATO/MTO) at SKU level

Provide input to the Supply Planning team related to inventory and customer requirements
-
Prepare & provide updates and recommendations for monthly Consensus Forecasting meetings

Prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management
-
Conduct forecasting analysis, ensuring forecasting processes and methods are followed

Create and maintain documentation (SOPs) for demand planning processes and systems
Basic Qualifications:
-
Advanced skillset with MS Excel and Power BI
-
Ability for big data in-depth analysis using advanced tools, models generation and framework
-
B.A. or B.S. in Supply Chain Management, Data Analysis or related degree or equivalent experience

Prior experience in using ERP systems (Syteline CSI10 a plus)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to organize work and manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines
-
Must be detail oriented, self-starter and comfortable taking initiative, as well as capable of producing high quality results on a sustainable basis
Top candidates will also have:

APICS, CPIM or CSCP certification, a plus

Working experience in a manufacturing environment a plus

Experience with Demand Planning software a plus
