Job Description:

The Go-to-Market (GTM) Consultant in Construction Industries Services Division will be responsible for the development and execution of services growth initiatives to exceed customer expectations and drive profitable parts and service revenue for Construction Industries (CI). The incumbent will interact with customers, dealers, and key business partners to define Critical Customer Requirements, develop services growth solutions, set priorities, and lead the cross functional team through the GTM process to deliver the best-in-class Customer Experience resulting in services growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Partnering across the enterprise to define and develop the desired customer experience for assigned scope and ensuring this customer experience supports the desired holistic CI customer experience

  • Leading a cross-enterprise team through the GTM process to bring solutions to market that improve the customer experience and deliver services growth

  • Ensuring services growth projects will drive CI customer digital activation with a focus on achieving targets for % active CI customers online across Parts.cat.om, Cat Central, Catpeijian, and other Caterpillar digital solutions

  • Establishing and executing prioritized MGPPs for solutions enhancement and dealer dependency projects

  • Communicating the prioritization and status of services growth projects across the organization

  • Acting as the “Center of Excellence” for assigned services scope

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 6+ years progressively responsible job-related experience in project or program management

  • Experience leading numerous projects simultaneously to successful completion

  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills to lead change, professionally challenge traditional thinking, drive innovation in products and services, effectively work alongside key business partners (internal and external) and ensure that the team is focused on driving results

TOP CANDIDATES WILL ALSO HAVE:

  • Experience with commercializing new services offerings

  • Project management or Six-Sigma black belt certification

  • Passion for thoroughly understanding and constantly improving the customer experience

  • Self-starter with excellent time management, prioritization, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • The ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously and multi-task in an agile and fast-paced environment

  • Experience with collecting, understanding, and prioritizing customer needs

  • Experience with developing business cases for prioritizing projects and stetting project goals

  • Knowledge of company services offerings, processes, dealer operations, product applications, and supporting systems

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Travel requirements can be up to 25%

  • Locations: Dallas, TX; Peoria, IL; Cary, NC

  • Relocation assistance is available for this role if relocating to Dallas, TX

  • There are two openings available on this team at this time. We are hiring for two positions
