Returning Professionals Program (RPP) – Engineering

Program duration:  2 Years

Program location:  Multiple positions available at Caterpillar facilities based in Mossville, IL and Peoria, IL.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree or relevant experience in a Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Field customer facing discipline

  • Previous related engineering experience

  • Currently on a career break

Top candidate may also have experience with (depending on the specific position):

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Previous analysis, design, or system engineering experience

  • Experience enhancing team creativity; facilitating team cooperation

  • Project management experience

  • Relevant foundational product or service development experience, such as:

    • Conceptual design

    • Development of product and/or process

    • Data analysis & extraction

    • Failure resolution & prevention

    • Requirements management

    • Commercial Acumen

    • Creo, Pro/E or solid modeling

    • Embedded Software

    • Electrical / Electronic Hardware Design
