Job Description:

JOB DUTIES: 

1. Lead a team conduct testing and analysis on non-metallic materials and components. Manage the team on daily work and technical capability development. Also be responsible lab fixed assets management.

2. Communication with internal clients on test requests, results feedback, resource planning.

3. Take lead on ISO17025 activities in lab team ensure the ISO17025 requirements are followed.

4. Implement Caterpillar Lean concepts to continuously improve work efficiency to achieve quick response.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:  
A college’s degree in Engineering/Manufacturing/Materials science with an excellent understanding of quality management practices or equivalent experience.  The ability to utilize a variety of computer software packages is also necessary.  In addition, three to five years of job-related experience are typically required.  Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.
