Description:

The Caterpillar Visitors Center (CVC) Support Representative is responsible for scheduling and training CVC ticket agents, serving as “Manager on Duty” for selected weekdays/weekends, as well as filling in as a back up ticket agent and providing customer meeting room support.  The Caterpillar Visitors Center is the global showcase for Caterpillar’s products and Services Growth strategy, providing best-in-class visitor services to an estimated 75,000 dealer, customer and general public visitors annually.


This part time position will play a valuable role in the day-to-day operations and alignment of CVC initiatives to the Enterprise Strategy of Services Growth and Customer/Dealer strategies.

Job Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as Manager on Duty as needed.  This includes opening and closing processes for the ticket agent desk, responding to questions and needs from visitors, security and maintenance requests, etc. 
  • Duties will include work on weekdays and selected Saturdays. 
  • Provide training for CVC ticket agents and provide weekly work schedules for the agents.
  • Serve as a back-up CVC ticket agent as needed.
  • Provide Customer/dealer CVC meeting room support.
  • Provide support for additional, routine CVC operations duties as needed

Basic Qualifications:

Candidates will have gained and be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience through previous roles:

  • Excellent attitude with a demonstrated ability to positively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to problem solve on the job.
