Come be a part of the Electric Power Digital Services team.  Digital won’t just be A way we win with our customers, but it will be THE way we win in the future.  This role directly interacts with our dealers and customers every day.  Supporting technical installation training, field follow of new features, benefits, and hardware.  They own technical troubleshooting of telematics hardware; the team serves as the Tier II & III support for dealers and supports the installation of our most sophisticated platforms like Cat Remote Asset Monitoring Premium.     


  • Manages a team of 5 Caterpillar employees and 1 Agency employee

  • Owns the field follow process for Electric power digital services

  • Supports dealer and customer quality and product issues by leading the technical escalation process.

  • Works with internal and external teams to define requirements, design and deliver new technology.

  • Manages projects related to developing business and technical solutions and implementing common processes and tools to provide process functionality to enable effective, efficient and economical services.

  • Trains and guides employees engaged in digital and dealer technical problems. Supervises activities, performance results and skill development to ensure goals are achieved and continued growth of staff.

  • Hires, trains and develops team

  • Leads continuous improvement objectives for our dealers & customers


  • A 4-year college or university degree in any of the business disciplines and a minimum of 7 years progressive experience

  • Experience working with our Caterpillar dealers and customers


  • Advanced knowledge of and ability to apply digital initiatives and systems.

  • Working knowledge of telematics processes, particularly those impacting customers.

  • Advanced ability to combine technical skills to develop innovative methods to support digital

  • Advanced oral and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to ensure specific project goals are met and delivered on time

  • Demonstrated ability to manage, review work, train, develop and mentor staff.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain dealer and customer relations.

  • Advanced ability to successfully lead process improvement, development and support teams.

  • Ability to reinforce high quality standards driven by customer needs and company objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment with subject-matter experts and creative resources.

  • Ability to create and maintain an environment conducive to collaboration across corporate business units and service divisions.

  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time on a worldwide basis.
