Job Description

To provide communication support services for a Business Unit or Division / To provide support to the O&TD strategy deployment. 

Job Duties

  • This role requires strong judgment to ensure that sensitive information is only delivered to appropriate individuals and audience segments

  • Uses software such as Microsoft Office (power point, word, and excel), intermediate or advanced use of the Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Audition, etc.)

  • Knowledge of Office 365 tools (SharePoint, Stream, Forms, Outlook, Yammer, Teams, Power Apps, etc.)

  • Experience in the use of social media (Facebook and LinkedIn)

  • The position is a specialist within the group and provides interpretation and problem-solving advice to others inside and outside of the department

  • The ability to listen to others is important in this job

  • Support the BU strategy from a tactical, and practical integration in the areas of organizational effectiveness, change management, Values in Action, talent management, and learning & development

  • Responsible for career development efforts and leads deployment of Talent Profile through Workday cycle on an annual’s basis

  • Develops division(s)’ learning strategy and align it with companywide initiatives. Responsible for development of Caterpillar Production System (CPS) training plan

  • The position’s primary customers are internal

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources or related field

  • 3 years of job-related experience / Related internship experience

  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)

  • Typical internal customers include the employees in one Division, located in different regions

  • The position’s primary customers internal, at all hierarchic levels within the organization
