3rd Shift Forklift Driver- Sanford, NC

This is a full-time Forklift driver position at the Caterpillar Facility in Sanford, NC starting at $17.41 (plus 8% shift Premium).

Job duties may include the following:

• Locating and movement of products to storage or the assembly line in a
  safe timely manner.
• Ability to inspect and perform regular maintenance to forklift as necessary.
• Use of RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification through proven operation of
  equipment.
• May rotate to various positions within the Job Function area to perform related
  activities.
• Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea
  Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work.
• May investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies and notify appropriate
  personnel of results or required actions.
• Ability to identify damaged material and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  Identify and correct or report safety hazards in the work area.
• Ensures grief and receiving processes and procedures are updated and
  communicated.

Schedule

7:45PM-5:45AM Sunday- Wednesday

OR

10:00PM- 6:00AM Monday- Friday

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of warehouse operations experience
• At least 6 months of stand-up forklift experience

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Must be able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes
• Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor
• Must be able to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
• Must be able to walk, squat and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes
   

Top candidates will also have:

• Caterpillar product knowledge
• Current stand up AND sit down forklift license
• Experience with Glovia OM including storing, ordering, picking and delivering material
• Experience with kitting operations
