Job Description:

This position is a combo-role responsible for providing expertise to support sales in the Construction industry as well as for the EXD products for the SE Asia District. Key responsibilities include running HEX competitive tests, develop VETs, deliver Dealer sales training, deliver Pro-Series training (e.g. Road Construction Pro), lead the GTM Product Support workstream, lead Construction customer events.

Regional Product Application Specialist (50%)

• Coverage HEX (S/M/L) for SE Asia District (Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos)

• Provide deep product expertise within region

• Represent the product at customer events, trade fairs/shows

• Provide product and application expertise during photo and video shoots, review MarCom materials

• Recommend regional lane configurations

• Conduct competitive tests

• Regional VET Development

• Create performance reports

• Organize and deliver regional dealer sales training and machine walk-around videos

• Collect regional strategic VOC input and recommendations to NPI process

• Collect and prioritize regional unmet customer needs document

• Lead regional dealer advisory meetings/ workshops and ensure engagement

• Respond to long-term (strategic) input on SF.com

• Own the customer panelists

Industry Specialist (50%)

• Provide Construction Industry expertise

• Lead Construction Customer events

• Deliver Pro-Series training

• Lead the GTM Product Support for specific product families – Includes Global responsibilities

• Technology – Cat Productivity Deployment

• Support Industry growth strategy through a “total solution” customer view

• Provide regional support through industry specific value stream training & consultancy

• Provide Voice Of Industry

Experience

• Experience of a min. 8 years with increasing responsibilities in Marketing, Sales, Engineering,

     Product Support

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Demonstrated success being a team player and working well with others.

• Demonstrated success working in a fast pace environment.

• Familiar with NPI process, Caterpillar systems and processes.

Required Skills

• Product and industry knowledge (familiar with EXD product and Construction Industry/applications)

• Ability to develop and maintain positive stakeholders relationships

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Effective oral and written communication.

• Fast learner

• Traveling: 50% to 70%
