Job Summary:

As a MRO Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for managing and distributing tools, equipment, and supplies essential for maintaining and repairing machinery as well as supporting production needs. What you will do:
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting all maintenance and other team members with locating parts
Disburse all parts removed/signed out from crib using Caterpillar tool crib software and tools
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, lifting carts, and electric walk-behind lifts in a safe and efficient manner when authorized or certified.
Ship out parts to be repaired by outside vendors
Put away all parts in the return parts area
Sign and verify all paperwork for parts delivered from receiving
Sort all deliveries, handing off purchase orders to the recipient or analyst team
Receive all work ordered parts into the approved system
Put away all incoming parts
Utilize FIFO for all perishable items (chemicals & etc.) per required policies and software
Relocate parts into cabinets, vertical storage, and racks as needed
Contact analyst team for shortages, overages, or missing items on orders
Complete weekly cycle counts and turn paperwork to analyst team
Complete daily 5S, workplace approved organization method, for tool crib and desks by end of shift
Perform any other assigned duties
What you will have:
Minimum of 2 months' experience in a machining, manufacturing, or warehouse environment or industry certification
Ability to work well with others
Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English
General knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint
Ability to adhere to safety procedures
What would make you a top candidate:
Strong attention to detail
Reliable
Previous experience reading and interpreting part prints and/or schematics
Intermediate experience using Microsoft Excel and other Tool Crib Software
Previous experience with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm. Overtime as required.

Summary Pay Range:
$18.50 - $21.50Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
