About Americas Distribution Services Division (ADSD)
Our Americas Distribution Services Division (ADSD) builds dealer capability and provides governance and administration of Cat® dealers across the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
As a Manager Human Resources in ADSD, you’ll lead key people initiatives and provide strategic human resources support across the organization. This role is responsible for partnering with business leaders to strengthen organizational effectiveness, enhance the employee experience, and ensure HR practices align with business objectives. The ideal candidate brings sound judgment, strong business partnership skills, and a demonstrated ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day HR leadership.
What You Will Do:
- Partner with senior leaders and managers to align human resources strategies with departmental and organizational objectives
- Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, talent development, and performance management
- Provide guidance to leaders and employees on employee relations, performance matters, policy interpretation, and workplace issues
- Lead strategic HR projects related to culture, employee engagement, talent pipeline and other key focus areas
- Analyze HR data and trends to inform decision-making and recommend process and organizational improvements
- Working with regional HR partners and enterprise process owners
- Conducting internal investigations
- Assisting with hiring, training, and safety-related initiatives
What You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
- Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
- Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
- Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
- Talent Management : Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills)
- Experience with Workday
- Experience using data and insights to drive decisions
Additional Information:
- This position can be in Peoria, Illinois or Irving, Texas
- This position requires working onsite five days a week
- This role will require global travel up to 15%

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
